Using new security technology called Community Connect, you can take action and help law enforcement officials in your city solve crimes, and all while making your business safer and more secure.
What is Community Connect?
Community Connect runs via a technology called Stratocast™, which is a cloud-based monitoring service. This technology allows you to view live and recorded video footage from your surveillance system using a laptop, tablet, or smartphone. You can tap into this feed twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. But the feature we’re most excited about is the ability to selectively share camera feeds with law enforcement officials. If an incident occurs at your business or at a neighboring business, police can immediately view high-quality, detailed video footage, gaining important information and passing it along to first responders. This not only assists in initial dispatch and response times but can be crucial to any subsequent investigations.
How Does Community Connect Work?
Step 1: Contact a program partner to install a compatible camera system.
Step 2: Monitor your video from anywhere, using a web client or mobile app.
Step 3: Provide a direct connection to any camera(s) you choose to share, allowing officers to monitor video during an incident.
