Supreme Security Systems Executive to Provide Insights on VoIP and Security at CPM 2005 EAST, November 2-4, 2005 in Orlando

UNION, New Jersey, April 6, 2005 — Supreme Security Systems, the largest independent, full-service electronic security provider in New Jersey, today announced  that its vice president and COO David Bitton has been selected as a featured speaker for CPM 2005 EAST, November 2-4, 2005, at the Gaylord Palms Hotel in Orlando, Florida.

The CPM 2005 EAST Conference and Exhibition is the premier training event for business continuity/COOP, emergency management and security.  The annual event provides a complete risk management curriculum for business and government professionals, and draws high-level business continuity, security and emergency management professionals from a wide range of industries.

Bitton will deliver a presentation focusing on security concerns for customers with Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP), a technology enabling customers to make telephone calls utilizing broadband Internet connection rather than regular phone lines. Specifically, Bitton will address how vulnerabilities such as signal distortion, power failure, line seizure and service outages can potentially disable or disrupt burglar/fire alarms and emergency services. Bitton’s presentation “Security Concerns for VoIP Customers” will be held on November 2, 2005 from 11:15 am to 12:30 pm.

“Many people are attracted to VoIP today because it offers significant cost savings on local and international calls,” said Bitton. “Unfortunately, this advanced technology also provides a host of security issues as it relates to security alarms and emergency services. CPM East is a wonderful platform for discussing these issues and I look forward to sharing my knowledge and insights with session attendees.”
